At CUED we've only ever used an extra extra comm port once, and that
required using a soldering iron.

gives the pin outs of J11 (Comms port) which goes to the CUED board.
The other two serial ports are on this, but to use them from the CUED
board then requires mod wire to pins 2,3 (or 4,5) of the FFC connector.
